Welcome to Naruto: Village, a MUSH
This is an entirely text-based roleplaying game, with coded commands, combat, and much more to come to give variety and assist with that roleplaying.
The game takes place in the Naruto universe, approximately 30 years after the first Great Shinobi War. Village's are just being built, old rivals are learning to work together. The older generations find it hard to trust, and while bigotry can rub off on their offspring, as the next generation is forced to work and train together those rivalries are becoming less and less. Friendships are forming. Life is changing.
Due to the timeframe, techonology is much less than that in the original manga. But we can blur the lines a bit as necessary. All the really matters is the skills do still exist.
Currently there's a limited clan-set (or the option to be clanless) based on Konoha clans. If the player-base expands enough to add more locations this can change, and adding other clans from other nations is also not entirely out of the question.
With that brief introduction out of the way, this site is just beginning as well and will contain more information soon. If you'd like to give the game a look, please do.
You can connect with a telnet client, including two I've listed below. The host is narutomu.com. The port is 5055. If you prefer to use SSL to connect the port is 5056.
If you're looking for a telnet client to use, I recommend Potato. Although it hasn't been updated in a while, it still works great. It does not, however, work with SSL. Alternatively, especially for Macs, you might want to try Mudlet.
I look forward to seeing you in game!
